Contest Period

The Take Me Away Travel 15th Anniversary Traveler Story Contest begins on June 15, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on July 30, 2026.

Eligibility

The contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Take Me Away Travel and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

 

How to Enter

Participants may submit one original story describing their favorite Take Me Away Travel experience via this entry form here. Stories may include personal vacations, group trips, interactions with Take Me Away Travel advisors, memorable travel moments, or other experiences related to Take Me Away Travel.

 

Entries may also include photographs and videos that help tell the story. By entering, participants confirm that their submission is their original work and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

Judging

 

This is a skill-based contest. Winners will not be selected by random drawing.

 

After the contest period ends, eligible entries will be reviewed and scored by members of the Take Me Away Travel team. Stories will be judged based on overall impact, creativity, originality, emotional connection, and representation of the Take Me Away Travel experience.

The decisions of the judges are final.

 

Prizes

Grand Prize:
$500 travel credit toward a future Take Me Away Travel vacation booking of seven (7) nights or longer.

Second Prize:
$300 travel credit toward a future Take Me Away Travel vacation booking of seven (7) nights or longer.

Third Prize:
$200 travel credit toward a future Take Me Away Travel vacation booking of seven (7) nights or longer.

Travel credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Travel credits must be applied to a new booking made through Take Me Away Travel and may not be applied to existing reservations.

 

Winner Notification

Winners will be announced on September 6, 2026 during Take Me Away Travel's 15th Anniversary Friends & Family Getaway in Jamaica. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Winners will also be contacted directly and announced through Take Me Away Travel's social media channels, website, and community platforms.

 

Content & Marketing Release

By submitting a story, photograph, video, testimonial, or other content as part of this contest, participants grant Take Me Away Travel a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, edit, modify, distribute, display, and share submitted materials for marketing, advertising, promotional, educational, social media, website, email, print, and other business purposes.

 

Participants represent that they own or have permission to submit all content provided. By submitting content, participants grant Take Me Away Travel permission to use their name, likeness, travel experiences, submitted stories, photographs, videos, and related content without additional compensation or notice.

Take Me Away Travel may edit submissions for length, clarity, formatting, or marketing purposes while preserving the overall intent of the original content.

 

Submitted content may be used in future marketing campaigns, anniversary promotions, social media posts, websites, blogs, newsletters, advertisements, presentations, and other promotional materials related to Take Me Away Travel.

 

Participants should not submit photographs, videos, or content containing individuals who have not consented to their appearance in promotional materials.

 

General Conditions

Take Me Away Travel reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, inappropriate, fraudulent, or otherwise violates these rules.

 

Take Me Away Travel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make administration of the contest impractical.

 

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Take Me Away Travel, its owners, employees, advisors, affiliates, partners, and representatives from any liability arising from participation in the contest or acceptance of any prize.
