Ryan Trenn is the founder and owner of Take Me Away Travel (TMAT), an award-winning travel agency built on a simple philosophy: travel is about much more than booking a vacation—it’s about creating memories, building relationships, and taking care of people every step of the way.

Ryan founded Take Me Away Travel in 2011, combining his background in management, marketing, sales, and customer service with his passion for travel. What began as a home-based travel business has grown into a nationally serving agency with a talented team of travel advisors, each bringing their own specialties and expertise to TMAT.

 

Over the years, Ryan has become especially recognized for his expertise with Sandals and Beaches Resorts and Caribbean travel. His accomplishments include membership in the prestigious Sandals Chairman’s Royal Club, recognizing him among the brand’s top travel advisors worldwide, along with numerous industry and sales awards. Despite the accolades, Ryan believes TMAT’s greatest achievement is the loyalty and friendships the agency has developed with its clients.

 

Take Me Away Travel specializes in Caribbean and Mexico all-inclusive vacations, honeymoons, destination weddings, cruises and river cruises, family and multigenerational vacations, Disney and Universal vacations, groups, milestone celebrations, and customized travel around the world. TMAT also proudly offers vacation planning without charging clients a planning fee.

 

One of Ryan’s greatest passions is group travel. TMAT’s annual Friends & Family Getaways have become much more than vacations—they are reunions of what Ryan affectionately calls the “TMAT Family.” Many travelers return year after year, forming lifelong friendships and sharing experiences around the world.

Giving back is also an important part of Ryan's vision for TMAT. Whether supporting local communities, helping destinations the agency visits, or organizing charitable efforts during group trips, Ryan believes travel provides an opportunity to leave a positive impact wherever possible.

 

For Ryan, the success of Take Me Away Travel has never simply been measured by the number of vacations booked.
